So...

So I have just ever so slightly neglected this page for a couple of weeks.
But I do have a good excuse - I just haven't thought of it yet.

I have just been doing the usual lately - work, sleep, eat, party, work, work ,work.
But the next couple of weeks should be better - first I have to make sure the work Christmas Party is completely organized and ready to go on the 20th Dec.

Our work only closes for Stat days, so I have taken some annual leave off for the week of New Years. I am going to drive up to Whangarei and visit my friends parents (27th - 30th). Then I'm going to drive back to Auckland, wash some clothes, pack some more and head off for Wiaheke Island the next day (31st - 2nd).

I am actually really excited - although the idea of taking a 2 hour drive by myself, to somewhere I have never driven before, scares the socks off me.

So I get a nice 12 day holiday, PAID FOR!

What I am really looking forward to is Christmas Day & the day I see Twilight!

Something...

The last couple of weeks have been crazy.
Lots of work and lots to do at home.
I have started looking into flights to go back to Idaho next July. I plan to be there for the Fourth of July.
I have finally adjusted to daylight savings - them people in Arizona are lucky!!!
This is very short as I have lots of work to get to.

The weird week

This week has been weirdly strange.
It started on sunday -
After being out on the saturday night until 4am(due to daylight savings) on sunday, I was woken by my friend at what I thought 10am. She kept telling me that I had to be at heres in less than an hour so we could get to lunch on time. I kept thinking, "this can't be right, its only 10am" - I tried to tell her that and then afterwards I just felt stupid. So after rushing througha showing and getting ready, I got in my car and went and picked her up.
The day ended up going off without a hitch. All of us took a nice drive out into the country to go have seafood chowder at her mums house, sitting out on the deck on one of the best days we have had so far this spring.
Then all week I have just been out of sync. My dad's started a new job and he's working later now. So by the time he gets home with the car that I am allowed to drive, I am way to tried from being at work all day so I just end up lying on the couch watching t.v.
So it wasn't until Wednesday when my cousin came round that I actually went out. I was nice.
And last night, thursday, was even better. I went shopping with my mum and bought two pair of pretty cool heels.
So really what I am trying to say is that daylight savings messes up your internal clock, and I hate it. I might move to one of those crazy countries that don't paticipate in daylight savings, and have summer all year round. Please if you know where this is tell me... hehe!

And Sister Carey the massage thing is amazing, not all employers have it as a perk, but mine does and I love it :D

My life has been hectic

Yea, so pretty much lost my login name, thanks Sister Carey for reminding me what it is.

Since I arrived back in New Zealand after a couple long flights I have been basically working fultime and partying.

I work as a receptionist at a telecommunications firm / Software development company.
I pretty much enjoy.. How can I complain? I get free massages every friday... YAY!!

I turned 18 a few weeks ago, so I have been partying quite a bit, lots of dancing and hanging with friends. It's amazing!

Last weekend I went on a Team Building weekend with work, was pretty much just a whole load of fun shoved into 2 days, and it was fully paid for by work... SAWEET!!!!!!!!!

Well I am actually at work now, so I should probably get back to it.

Promise to update more often.
